We Also Help.

We believe in the power of animal rescue, whether it be small abandoned kittens, an abused elderly dog or any other animal that doesn't have a voice to ask for help. Zane started volunteering for Myles Ahead in 2019 and from day one he belonged. The community of people that come together to support and volunteer for this organization have welcomed Zane with all his abilities and disabilities. He has a large extended family here with a few that have not only changed the lives of many animals, they’ve changed Zane’s life too.

So, we help.

Zane’s life has been an unexpected journey for his family and friends. Zane was less than two years old when the search began for a diagnosis to his seemingly small and underlying neurological issues. When Zane was 5 years old he was the 16th person in the world to be diagnosed with a newly named and rare form of Leukodystrophy. The YaYa Foundation is currently the only organization that has Zane’s disorder as a primary focus. We are a very small group of affected people and their families; individually we are strong but together we are powerful.

So, we help.
